Egyptian Magic - Masterclass series
Osiris, the Shining One is probably the most important Egyptian God. The mythology about his live and death are the key to the High Mysteries of Ancient Egypt. His legacy is still actual after thousands of years, they are the fundaments of Christianity. Osiris, a corn god, a moon god, a star god. How is it possible that this archaic god is possible to touch us deep in our hearts after thousands of years?

Everyone who goes into the Otherworld is an Osiris. In this way is Osiris 'our father who is in heaven'. At the same time Osiris is the shaman, the magician who travels through the worlds of the unseen. 'What brings you here Osiris? I am a magician' tells the Egyptian Book of the Death.
Ancient Egypt and magic are one. Magic was the state religion. Magic penetrated all the layers of life. Low magic is a tool to pretect you from the dangers of everyday life. High Egyptian Magic is theurgy, the early version of the High Mass. By means of delicate ritual acts, spells, ritual formulas based on mythical stories. The practice of high Egyptian Magic generates a very strong and unique energy level.
Unique to Egyptian Magic is that because it has not been practiced for so long, its pure forms have been preserved. All dogma's, all political polution of ideas that inevitably creep into a living tradition have been melted away by twothousand years of rest. What comes forth from the dust are the pure rituals, the core of all magical acts. Egyptian magic has proven to be enormeously effective in its effects, and are a highway on the road towards spitual fulfilment.

- You will work with Egyptian magical techniques like the assumption of godforms, the use of the different types of bodies of light, Egyptian Mantras, body positions and of course Egyptian ritual.
- Both low magic and high magic will be explained and practiced.

This series of masterclasses is of interest for people who want to work with the Egyptian Pantheon, and who want to expand their spiritual experience by means of meditationexercises, mystery play and ritual. Language: Dutch.

These masterclasses will be under the tuition of the Magistra of the Hermetic Order of the Temple of Starlight. Ina Cüsters-van Bergen is a Third Degree Adept of Western Mystery Tradition, from the lineage of Dion Fortune. Ina is the author of the book ‘The Temple of High Magic’, of the Solo Magical Training, and of the Temple Training programmes of the Order.
Ina has build up an international name in designing and organizing exclusive and intensive weekend workshops. Ina is a certified socio therapist and has worked as a trainer and manager in psychiatric healthcare organisations. In her trainings she combines archaic alchemical and magical techniques with modern methods like hypnosis, NLP, family constellations and systemic therapy.
