Through the Looking Glass

 

Hi dear reader,

 


Did you ever notice that we don't all live in the same world? Together with an acquaintance I look to the same topic. What I've learned to observe, escapes someone else.


Colliding worlds of logic and metaphysics. Both perspectives look through their own window into the world. Like Alice, I look through the looking glass and see a Lion and a Unicorn fighting together for the Crown.

The Lion of logic fights for a repeatable mechanical world. Here counts the measurable. The Unicorn storming off and impales this world with a wondrous dream: and the metaphysical world permeates the consciousness.

The lion of logic does not acknowledge this subjectivity and regards it as a deviation. Suddenly the World of the Unseen opens up, and you go through an expansion of consciousness.

The Lion and the Unicorn fight. What to do now, when mother taught you, that there are no House Elves living in closets, and no gnomes under the bed. Where to find help, when the unseen World suddenly awakens and you find no guidance in the ' normal ' world to give you support?
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

'Well, now that we have seen each other,' said the Unicorn, 'if you'll believe in me, I'll believe in you. Is that a bargain?'

Just like Alice many people think that the unseen world is filled with huge monsters. Fear is the first reaction when being confronted with this reality unprepared. But the unseen world is a wondrous reality, in which every dream becomes real when it is dreamed with conviction; because that is the magical law of consciousness.
